Technology integration
In Uganda – designed, installed and operated Africa’s first biometrically enabled ID system to support online land management functions with secure identification.
In Mexico - implemented Latin America’s first property registration system incorporating blockchain-based data files. Parcel files were created through integration of aerial survey output with human census information.
Emerging market operations
Developed and operated a 16-person customer service company, including incorporation, organization, hiring, training, monitoring and motivation. Successfully transitioned local project coordinator to run the office in Kampala.
Established and staffed 4-person project service office in Tulum, Mexico, in less than 30 days. Recruited, trained, and supervised 12-person human census team for door-to-door surveying.
Energy
In Afghanistan - developed and implemented a rural renewable energy project, positively impacting more than 1 million people. The project included training of the installation and maintenance force.
In Pakistan - developed the requirements and financial model for a pre-paid smart meter concept with the Karachi Electric Supply Company. The concept was eventually adopted by the country for a $1 billion+ energy distribution improvement project funded by the Asian Development Bank.
In Liberia - made Liberia Electric sustainable by implementing a new collection system, accounting system, and MIS. Also trained personnel and management for ongoing operations.
e-governance
Developed partnership with Buganda Land Board to design and operate a modern land management and property owner identification system.
Structured and implemented quasi-governmental Property Registry Institute for state in Mexico. Financed and deployed modernized property management/cadastre electronic system state-wide.
